What's the thinking about having time wasting over half? Seems a bit weird to say the least.

I'm trying it with Barca right now. Dont know if it's the quality players that make it work, but so far I've played it for 4 games in a row (2 home, 2 away) with a breathtaking 16-2 score, including an amazing 8-0(!) win over AlmerÃ*a. not the best team, I know, but we were playing with 10 for the better part of the game as Ronnie got sent off for cynical two-footed in the 2nd minute. Never seen that happen to Ronnie before, but read somewhere else that with the patch, players tend to get the red a lot... Bug?

Anyway, the tactic seems solid enough. At least with the right kind of players (worldclass).

Anth: The timewasting enables your team to control the ball more. In theory thus playing the killer pass only when chances are very good for succes. Passing back and forth until the right movement allow for attacking punches! It also help your players to get into position before starting play.

Without it, it might be a completely different tactic, perhaps more suited to non-worldclass teams. It would make the play more counterattacking-like in style with faster buildup, but also with greater risks as you would definetely loose more balls due to 'risky' passing forward. Remember it's on direct... But now I'm intrigued myself! I think I'm gonna try playing it with low timewasting a couple of games...

Great tactic mate..I play my own tactic (442) with Liverpool and i lost 1:0 home from Inter in 1/8 final second leg i used your tactic and i was leading 3:0 away and finish 3:1 so i go ahead

Now on 1/4 final again away vs Valencia i lead 2:0 they score 1 and then it finish 3:1 for me..both matches i had possession about 60% which was great but when i play home is oposite i have possession about 40 and away team have 60%..i still manage to win but from what i see my team play much better away with this tactic..
What you think i can change to have more possession at home game?play little slowly or?

I really like how team moves on pitch it's nice football to watch

Concerning the red card, yes it's a bug and its going to be sorted out in the patch.

What I do when I am a man under, is just remove the middle MC and do not touch anything else and as you allready said i still dominate the game despite being a man down.

As for time wasting I didnt try to lower it, simplly coz this works great so far.

Thanks for the response, and keep me updated

Glad its working for you too mate.

I dont have any problems at home at all, its playing great just like away.

Dont know why you loose possesion at home, the only time an opposition has more possetion tha me is when they play 3-5-2 with 5 midfielders in the strait line, but even than i have a lot more shoots at goal and win.

I struggle a little bit home but last match i won 5:0 home at Reading funny part was that i scored 3 or 4 from corners and 1-2 from free kicks no open play goal but impressive win anyway

I score more than 5 from corners and i play 5 matches for now with your tactic

Regards

Assen:

If you're still having problems with possesion, try increasing your time-waste. I know it sounds kinda boring, but with the way the match engine works it helps keep possesion too...
