Default A Summers Tale

Long ago, in a land far far away, the lords of Mancunia and Scouseland were forever warring. Thane Ferguson and Don Benitez had been locked in a feud for decades, employing mercenaries to fight their battles. It had become clear that the uglier the mercenary, the better he fought.
Mancunia had the upper hand for several years, with the troll Roon and his hideous stallion Nostrelflair. However, when Don Juan La Porta enticed the deformed mare to replace Rosinaldo in his fabled stables in Madrid, Mancunia was left at a disadvantage.
This was further exposed when Scouseland won the services of the Lowland gargoyle Kuyt to partner with their deformed dwarf Stretch.
Mancunia trembled as Scouseland's much uglier attackers threatened to plunder and pillage Mancunian outposts such as Oldham and Bury.

Something had to be done.
And so it was.

A troll so ugly even the vomit inducing Roon was disgusted was spotted eating babies in the docklands of The South.
Rumour had it, he could kill a rock at a thousand yards with his breath.
The dockworkers had named him the Stevezdore Slasher, and Mancunia sent forth envoys to capture his services.
Much brouhaha was made of the moving of a wild animal from a Park that was not under Mancunia's jurisdiction. However, after proving that the beast was actually the property of the Devil, and not The Park, Mancunia signed a deal whereby Kieron Richardson's soul would be payment.

This gave the Kingdom of Mancunia two trolls do defend it's borders. Uglier than anything ever seen.

On a different note, this was troublesome for the Rams of the 'Shire, who had had trouble in the past crossing into Mancunia. Their petition for freedom of travel, or 'Pro-Motion Effort', looked to be on shaky ground now they had two trolls to contend with.

So endeth the tale.
