offensive username removed

hi guys im finding this game so hard, even on the few opportunities when it doesn't crash im finding it very difficult to keep clean sheets. im managing spurs 1st season and ive played 9 matches and not kept a single clean sheet and winning few games. no matter what formation i play i keep conceding. just got beat 3-0 by villa at home plz help.

p.s. how do u do individual player instructions thanx

if your defenders are poor then you have to offer some protection. A holding player, check the mentality aswell. TO gung ho and you will leave your defenders exposed. If you have great defenders you can get a way with it.

Hi there, firstly tactic alone don't guarantee you success, it can of course have an impact though. If i were you i'd stick to something fairly simple at first, maybe try a basic 4-4-2 with a few tweaks for individuals and see how that goes. Constantly chopping and changing your formation can have a negative affect on your team's performances, or rather, getting your players used to a consistent play style can greatly help your performances. Other factors that can influence your success include the moral and fitness of your players as well as lady luck. If things aren't going well don't always assume your tactic is "broken" (there is no dead cert way to win) and see if theres anything else you can do to get your players playing better (maybe criticize some lackluster performances or change their training.

As for player instructions, the easiest way to do it when setting up a tactic is to click to the left of the players name so that the window on the right displays all of their various instructions

So Spurs cant keep a clean sheet...EVER.. who say's this games not realistic!!

Dont try to out think the game, set your team up as you would in real life. Dont play nice two touch at the back like the Arsenal,get your defenders clearing the ball long, midfield tight and closing down always and a man up front to hold the ball up and do his best to let your MF's get up to assist. Defend hard and unattractive until you get the players in to play the system you really want to.

I have hade great succses with all the clubs i been in.. took celic to the CL final the first sesion.. won the league with IK start first try .
have a game now with spurs and after 10 matches am in 2 place.. 8 wins 1 draw and 1 lose.. lost to man utd away and hade a red card after 30+ min.. ill post a link to a old post i hade there u can find out alittle on how i think.. on that post am playing with united and celtic.. also think its some info about a old spurs game i hade..
