Hey there

On Football Manager 08 can you tell me how to put these tactis in?. As in, what folder to place the .tac file?.

Is it just simple and place it in the tactics folder, if so, the tactic does not appear.

This tactic does not work for my Liverpool game. I cant keep a clean sheet and I cant defend a lead. I tried going defensive, time wasting the lot. My defence and keeper are crap and keep getting 5's and 6's and keep getting booked aswell.

Find the Sports Interactive folder in your "my documents" area. The tactics folder is located there.

I have Gerrard as AMC and use Babel in the AML, they are both very lethal. I sold Pennant and brought in a different AMR with good heading, he seems to score inside the 6 box a lot. The RB position with Finnan was also a liability so I brought in Richards to play there.

This tactic looks very nice, but I think the ai has cracked it for my leed game. They come up with 442 formations with farrows on the wingers and a barrow for the cm to the dm position. Tried several things but can't handle them. Any advice?

It seems I jumped the gun a bit with my previous post. I had great success in the first 4 games with this tactic but then it fizzled out and my players went back to sniffing glue and watching pretty girls in the stand. Just about to get relegated (for the first time ever in FM) now, as soon as I get thumped by the league leaders.

Not saying its a bad tactics but the fun didnt last long for me.

Back to the drawing board I suppose.

Hi Uysaler, nice attacking tactic. I tried with Derby, now 2nd season. Score lots but als conceeded lots goal. I tried turn on the tight marking but it seems the defence not tight enough. I remark most of the goal come from long shot or from crosses. Any tips how to stabilize the defence ? For the AML position, you mentioned to put Forward on that position, striker also okay ? Thanks

Hello, I have been having big problems trying to get a decent set-up to manage Stoke. I have decided to give this tactic a try to see if it works for me. So far played 3 friendlies.

I drew my first against St Mirren nil nil.

My 2nd was against Northwch Vics and won 5 nil.

My 3rd was against Shrewbury and won 4 nil.

I have had to buy a few players and I alawys have a training routine for the closed season where they work hard on tactics.

I will let you all know how it works for me in the near future.
