i've been trying your tactis on my 4th season with Manutd and so far i still havent concede single goal in EPL after 5 game beat arsenal 4-2 and valencia 1-0 :thup:

this tactis is very good at set piece each game i score 1 from set piece very good tactis :thup:

Here are my first few results with St Etienne:

1-5 home to Auxerre - terrible
2-1 home to Lyon - v.good
2-2 away to Lille - good
4-2 away to Amiens - v.good (i was 2-0 down)
4-2 home to Caen - good
0-0 home to Valenciennes - nothing happened
0-1 away to Nancy - poor (missed lots of chances)


Apart from the first game (no idea what went wrong) its been very good. I had a lot of players missing from the last 2 games.

I am definatly better in attack with the 3 attacking midfielders doing most of the damage. But I am struggling at the back, its probably more to do with my defenders because they are all poor bar the left back.

The more attacking of the 2 DMCs has a habit of getting tackled while in dangerous positions. I've told him not to dribble with it and I'll see if that helps.

Hi.. nice tactic.. i am having fun with it now.. some tweaks i have done is adding barrows to my DCs. I have a major problem with all my tactics though. My strikers arent scoring. They miss sitters while my wingers/AMC are scoring for free. Has it got to do with my training? Using Matt's atm.

Striker is Vela/Huntelaar at Year 2012.

Finally something that works. It seemed for me that the forward started getting more opportunities after a few games. After a draw on the first game my Liverpool have gone on a 5 game win streak, although it has all been against mediocre to lesser teams.

The full backs roaming forward has caused me some heart palpitation but speedy DMs seem able to mop up. I'll have to wait and see what happens against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal etc.

I thought i'd give your tactic a try with my newly promoted Oldham team in the championship, my team is pretty poor but with some good youngsters that will be decent players in a couple of years so far i'm 4th in the league after 8 games, i've played 4 away and won them all however at home i've won 1 drawn 1 and lost 2, and each time i won the AI played 4-4-2 each time i've failed to win they have played a different formation with 1 striker.

So im not sure if the tactic is just suited to playing away from home or if it doesn't do well against formations other then the 4-4-2.

It takes some time to fit to tactic so it is normal that something like that happens in the first game. If you don't have a player with dribbling for MC, that tweak would make the tactic better.

Yes, I realized that also. When they are playing 4-4-1-1 formation, you start to have problems. You can remove farrows of the wingers in that games.

I've tweaked the defence and in pre-season it looked better with only one concededed in 8 games.

(1) I set all 4 members of the defence to man marking but didn;t tick tight marking box.
(2) I set closing down to the highest notch for in own area for all 4
(3) Reduced creative freedom to 2-3 notches from the least possible
(4) Reduced forward runs and run with the ball to rarely for full backs
(5) Made right defensive midfielder much more defensive, less creative freedom and rarely forward runs

Everything else stays the same

You cna remove the arrows of wingers and add a farrow to your AMC

They can fit if you have defenders with high Makring attribute.

By the way, Almeria is 3rd in the League after 15 games. They ahve the worst squad in La Liga, but tactic works even for less quality teams.
