How sound is this defensively? By the look of the tactic, and how the fullbacks dont attack, it seems like, its working pretty good all round.
Is there any problem with the middle of the park since there isnt any CMs around.

You're another one who uses the OI function a lot. I haven't been using it, but plan to when I get promoted

| Defensively it's been very sound so far, it's quite a narrow tactic so teams find it very difficult to find space against you.
There are absolutely no problems in the midfield, in fact because of the way it's set up this tactic dominates in midfield.
When we've got the ball it's like attacking with 6 men and the defensive midfielder sees a lot of the ball allowing the two AMC's to push on.
When defending the DM, ML/MR and to a certain extent the AMC's all drop back and help out so it's like defending 7 to 9 players.
Rashidi - I like using the opposition instructions, they seem to work for me. But even I don't use them as extensively as someone like Amaroq, who'll go in and check every player before a match and show every one onto their weaker foot. I just concentrate on the strikers and wingers.
I definitely find hard tackling players with low bravery effective though, it can completely take someone out of the game in my experience.

hey chopper thanks for sharing the tactics...
i have try 2 games only b'cause got some work to do..and the result is,im playing arsenal by the way...all win..
bolton(A):2-3(last minute goal by senderos)
everton(H):3-0(all the goal from the midfielder)
a few question:
1.wht kinda striker do have to put infront of the goal
2.are this is home or away tactic...if its home...wht change do i have to change from the team or player instructions...
thanx

Nice tactic Chopper and good explanation of instructions too.
I'm in first season (with patch) playing as Werder Bremen, had dropped to 5th in the table and had a big game at home against Hamburg current leaders and only one defeat all season (22 games gone) and they had won their last 6.
I got a satisfactory 1-1 draw with my team creating twice as many shots as theirs. Pass completion 80% which I think is pretty decent.
Only thing I amended to suit my own ideas was to drop the levels back a couple of notches for passing for the striker and the 2 attacking midfielders, and also man marked their front 2 and their AMC.
Will keep you posted.

| Hi aMaL, glad it's working ok for you so far. In answer to your questions:
1. I generally used Rooney up front so had him doing forward runs and long shots due to him having a fairly powerful shot. However, when he was injured I used Aguero up front who's faster and more skillful so I dropped the long shots down to mixed and put 'run with ball' to often. I found this worked very well, Aguero ended up performing slightly better than Rooney up front.
So if you've got a quick skillful striker drop the long shots down to mixed for him and up the run with ball, if you've got a stronger target man type striker who can shoot then drop the run with ball and up the long shooting.
2. This tactic was going to by the home version but it worked so well for me that I used it for every game without tweaking at all. So if I were you I'd just try keeping it the same for both home and away games.
