Well done ulrich! Hamptonpig - yeah I guess some tactics need to be tweaked or changed slightly for each team and I hope you finaly get yours! If you send me your save game I could try and work one out too? Let me know when you think you've got a workign tactic though!

I used your tactic with Bayern Munich (without Ribery and Toni) for couple of matches:

5 - 3 vs. HSV
6 - 4 vs. Werder
3 - 0 vs. Leverkusen
4 - 1 vs. Werder
3 - 1 vs. Dortmund
1 - 1 vs. Nurnberg
2 - 2 vs. Rostock
4 - 1 vs. Bochum

The only change I made was setting passing to short.

I was delighted with the style of the play and the preformance od my midfielders and strikers but wasn't pleased with the defence.

I tried to combine the attacking part of your tactic and the defensive part of one of my old tactics but nothing worked.

The best part of your tactic was the way midfielders were passing the ball to the strikers (and rarely using long shots), but I just can't manage to replicate it

Blab - Hey thanks for using my tactic and getting back to me. I'm glad you ahd some possitive results! They look pretty convincing! Do you know exactly what was the problem with your defence? Did you try setting them to SIT DEEP and mark the OPPOSITIONS strikers tightly and close them down always? That usualy helps me :-)

Don't know what the exact problem was, probably too many shots on goal by the opposition.

I did mark strikers tightly and close them down always after the first Werder match. Next match vs. Leverkusen did show some improvement but still not enough (disappointing 2-2 draw vs. Rostock). I tried switching to zonal defence but that proved to be even worse
