Default Shrinking images

[confused] I need to shrink an image of a bass to fit into a canvas of 31 pixels by 22 pixels. Everytime I try to copy and paste the images I create they are always larger than the canvas. How do I shrink the image to fit into the new canvas without loosing proportion?

well, it depands how your scale from the to shrinked foto upon the 31x21 pixels. If the origanal is 800x600 pixels then the scale of 31x21 pixels will not fot, with other words you will lose porportion. In this case you can copy the origanal to the 31x21 and then do a free transform.

Good luck [righton]
