Hi all.

What formation are you fellas using?

I'm three games into the league season playing 4-1-3-2. I'm dominating possession and having plenty of shots, but only scoring the odd goal or two.

Best player for me so far is Gabriel Agbonlahor, who's on loan from Villa. Pace 20, Acc 20, labelled the new Geoff Hurst.

Would be interested to hear which formation you've found the best so far with Juve.

Cheers.

Im using 4-3-1-2 with usually del piero behind the front two and zanneti in centre mid.. Works a treat in the first season got promoted and finished first, came runner up in the cup.

Well transfer deadline just passed in my second season, brought in 4 players, sold alot to raise funds
I brought in :
Balci Serkan (turkish Fullback)
Fabio Aurelio (1.8 million on list )
Lucas
and Mosquera (AMLC) : someone who i would recommend, got him on loan from real madrid, and he has a minimum release clause of 6 million, my scouts have all rated him 5 stars and apparently has the potential to be twice the player del piero was!

Anyway played 3 matches so far won them all :
lazio 0 - 3 juve
juve 1 - 0 Inter
Chievo 1 - 4 Juve

Currently using that same formation that got me promoted, but probably when playing strong teams away from home ill go more defensive and counter attacking.

Im just about to start my third season. In my second season i was Serie A runner up and UEFA Cup Champion. And i had really busy summer compared to last

I Sold:
Chiellini - 21M(e) to Real
Ruben Olivera - 12.5 to Palermo
Mirante - 4.5 to Villarreal
Zebina - 4.5 to Fiore
Sculli - 2.3 to Samp
Marchionni - 12.5 to Atletico

And i bought some decent players:

Manuel Ruz - free
Loic Abenzoar - 3.9 from Lyon
Djibril Cisse - free
Jonathan Woodgate - 4.5 from Milan
Ismael Aissati - 11.5 from PSV
Alberto Zapater - 13.75 from Zaragoza
Freddy Adu - 2.5
Hamit Altintop - 8.5
Andrea Mei - free
Khalid Boulahrouz - 14M
Asier Del Horno - 10M
Nani - 26.5M
Gourcuff - 12.5M

So now i have really solid and deep squad and im really going to claim the serie a and CL titles. I felt so frustrated last season. Milan stole the title from me in the last week
But to be honest my squad was more suitable for the middle of the table than for the top and i must be satisfied.
Now i have a good squad to return Juve in their right place - on the top in Italy and in Europe. Im going to claim treble this year, despite that the big sharks again claimed some of my transfer targets like Gonzalo Rodriguez and Aaron Lenon.
In the last 2 seasons i played attacking 4-4-2 but i think i must change the tactic now, cause this one is good, but it is very hard when the opponent takes advantage on you. So heres my squad and please feel free to give me any suggestions about the tactics:

GK- Buffon, Kiraly
Defenders- Woodgate, AVB, Boulahrouz, Tudor, Ruz, Balzaretti, Altintop, Del Horno
Midfielders- Zanetti, Duscher, Zapater, Nakamura, Nedved, Camoranesi, Gourcuff, Nani, Adu
Attackers - DP, Bojinov, Trez and Cisse

Nice squad you have assembled there, bouhlarouz has already gone in my game from chelsea was going to sign him. Also was thinking of selling Camoranesi, hes getting on a bit, and i could get 10 million for him.
Also i would like to keep bojinov, but who could i replace him with if he wants to leave and i can get 15 mil for him

Just started a game with Juve, here's how I'm doing at an early stage:

Transfers In:

Mike Zonnerveld, NAC Breda - £2.2m (competetion for Chellini)

Javier Saviola, Barcelona - £8.75m (Another start striker with DP, Bojinov and Trezeguet)

I also brought in youngsters Paulinho Betanin and George Junior Weah, so that I could get them some experience and hopefully sign them as they have come good for me in the past.

Transfers Out:

Nicola Legrottaglie, Genoa - £1.6m

I'm easily into the 1st round of the Italian Cup:

beat Martina 2-0
beat Novara 7-0
and beat Lecce 4-0

and in my only league game so far I beat Brescia 2-0.

I'm using a 4-4-2, with an attacking mentality. I've built a very strong side attacking wise.

I finished top in my first season, undefeated and drawing 2 games.. didnt buy anyone in my first season, brought in 2 loan players tho..

Davids from Feyenoord (DL, DM etc)
Gabi from ?? someone in Spain (MC)

played 2 games so far in new season, beat Milan 2-0 and Empoli 2-0, both at home.

For the new season:

Sold Trezeguet to Chelsea for £24m, Chiellini £6m to Chelsea.

Bought: Serginho from Milan for £85k (I think thats right)

D'Allessandro (AM/L/C) £7.5m

Also re-loaned that Davids guy, he's a steady performer when I need him

I think you made big mistake by selling chiellini. I also had much offers for him, but he was magnificent for me. But after the last Real offer i negotiated and said 21M. They surprised me and i had to sell him, the money were really much for a left back.
And Champlegendjoe dont sell bojinov at any prize. He is the future of the club. 15M are too low bid for him. I would probably sell him for 45-50M. He scored 35 goals for me in serie b and 36 in the second season. He saved my $$$ so many times, including the final for the UEFA Cup. Trez, Marchionni, Duscher and Nakamura were all injured. Espanyol took 2-0 lead on me in the first half, but when i told the guy that i trust in him he scored a superb hattrick. He also saved me against Milan and Depor. And by now he and Buffon are the most valuable players i have. Both of them have av.rating above 7.5
Just keep him cause he's really good player.
Trez also scores a lot of goals, he was my top goalscorer with 37 goals, but doesnt give so many asists(bojinov had 15 for the first and 16 for the second season). The cool thing when i have both is that when one of them isnt in good form the other one is
Next transfer window ill try to buy Torres or Podolski.
