What's the verdict on Metzelder? I approached him for a Bosman, and he's agreed to join, but I only know him as the not-very-good one next to Mertesacker in the world cup. Anyone have experience of Metzelder>

probably a good buy but scout some german defender playing for koln ( can't remember his name ) and compare them. The defender is young btw

Got the chance to sign Bonera from AC Milan for a measly 6mil (rising to 10 after 50 aps). Is he worth it?

Well played the first leg in the Italian Cup and Milan beat me 2-1 but im hopeful for the 2nd leg.
