i used up all my transfer budget at start on signing Vincenzo Iaquinta on a co-ownership deal - he is slamming them in so far he has 33 goals in 31 games. also sitting pretty at top of serie B unbeaten

I wouls of thought Striker was the last position that needed strengthening tbh.

I won the serie B with huge difference(21 pts) and also won the italian cup without any transfers. So i secured promotion and uefa participation but have to say that i am really disapointed. After the first season you finish with balance -30M. Then the board cuts your head! They give you 700k transfer money and the wage budget is really tight. So you are allowed to offer max 3k(euro) p/w to your potential signings. It was a bit hard transfer period but hope the next will be better.
So i sold(prices are in Euro):
Robert Kovac-free(the ba.tard didnt want to renew his contract)
Marcelo Zalayeta- 3.3M to Lille
Raffaele Palladino- 9M to Wigan
Guzman- 4.2M to Lazio
Giannichedda- 3.3M to Lazio
Kapo- 5.5M to Villarreal
Gasbarroni- 7M to Boro
Boumsong- 4.1 to Blackburn
Then i had about 23M transfer budget and the board allowed me to offer contracts up to 27k p/w
So i bought:

Vieri- 85k(DP got injured for few months thats why i had to do this infamous act)
Early i had offers accepted for Kalou, Barzagli, Alan Smith, van Persie and some more decent players but all of them opted for another clubs. And my heart is bleeding when i look to who Inter bought(despite the fact they sold Adriano to Chelski)

Lost 0:2 to inter for italian sc then beat beat H.Tel Aviv 2:0, draw 0:0 with Lazio and lost 0:2 to Livorno.

how the hell did you ever get -30M balance ??? I also played my first season with Juventus, also won serie B with ease (especially thanks to trezeguet, bagging 37 goals in 40 matches) got knocked out of the cup^in quarter finals by Palermo.

Yet my balance at the end of the season is only around -2M and the new transfer budget is 8M and I can go up to 50.000 per week (i play in euro currency, but I roughly calculated it in pounds, so it might be a few 1000 pounds off)

Did you decrease wages of your top earners at the beginning of the season etc... ?

No i didnt think about that and when i got promoted their wage got increased with 25% and thats maybe the reason. When i got the money for the TV rights(40M) my balance also became something like -3M
Now my balance is 27.6M
