ok players. its nearing the end of my first season and am on course for promotion.
now, the hawks are sniffing around 20/25 man trez. do i sell (and for how much)...im planning on selling..i think.
who can i get for around 15-20 mil that is awesome. villa just signed a new contract with valencia meaning his release is now £102m so he's out of the picture unless he is available for £20ish. so, who is up to that kind of level. villa/trez etc that i can get and will tear Serie. A to shredz?
I'm probably in a minority of one here, but keep DT. He's one of only two truly world-class players (in the initial squad anyway, don't know who you've bought) who are young enough to last a while. And between him and Buffon you have the two most important positions well covered. These are the two positions which, IMHO, are indispensible. There's a reason why strikers cost more than comparable players in other positions...
But then, I never got a decent (ie £20m plus) offer for DT in or just after the first season, so I never really had a choice to make. I would have sold him for Rosicky plus £5m, but depsite his constant bothering, Arsene never delivered the goods. And in the end I bought Cani for £5m so the Rosicky thing became less of an issue.

TBH i sold Trezeguet and it didnt harm me, bojinov and iaquinta showed me why i didnt need him, and the 20 mil did me really good.
Just into jan Transfer window and brought in aaron lennon as my future replacement for camoranesi as hes knocking on abit, currently second behind inter and rolled through champ league group phase, beating Barca twice!
If you guys have looked at a young striker called paollucci (may be spelt wrong) in your youth team, keep him, hes FB now in my game, and its just the 3rd season

Just finished my first season with Juventus. Amassed over 100 points in the league (won, obviously) and beat AC Milan in the Italian Cup Final.
At the start of my season I renegotiated serveral players contracts bring the wage bill down and bought Drost (Heerenveen 1.1m) and Higuain (River Plate 3.5m) and sold 2 or 3 players.
I pretty much played an attacking 3-4-1-2 (Del Piero in the hole) all season in the league and all four of my strikers baggged 20+ goals each!
To be honest whilst winning is good, winning that easily week in week out is pretty dull. I am now at the start of season two however, and this is where the real fun begins...
I have a small wage budget and just 2.2m to spend on transfers (despite having just under 10m saved up from season one)
However, with all of Juve's loan players returning at several players nearing the end of their careers I forsee that we will be busy in the transfer market this year!
At the moment I am trying to offload Del Piero and Nedved whilst hang on to Higauin (12m bid off Inter) and a couple of my other players. I just hope the board doesn't sell them from under my feet...
