ACF Fiorentina is an Italian football club based in Florence (Firenze), Tuscany. The club's traditional colors were originally red and white but were changed to purple and white in 1928; since then, the club has been generally known as "i Viola" (the purple ones). The club usually plays at the 47,282-capacity all-seater 'Comunale' Stadium "Artemio Franchi" (known until 1991 as Comunale di Firenze, which had itself replaced the "Giovanni Francesco Berta" in the 1930s).
The club was founded on August 26, 1926 by the merger of Libertas and Club Sportivo Firenze. The club won its first trophy in 1939-40 with the Coppa Italia and its first scudetto (Italian championship) in 1955-56, the club were runners-up in the four following seasons. In the 1960-61 season the club won the Coppa Italia again and was also successful in Europe, winning the first Cup Winners' Cup against Rangers.

Now then, as you can see, there is a good team, but not brilliant. Not title winning potential
So what i plan to do is bring in a quality Striker to play along side Pazzini, maybe a big strong bulldozer .
I plan to use a 4-4-2 but with high wingers. To see how far that gets me.
Ok then, thats all i can say really. Other than come on Viola \o/.
Tell us your stories with the team please, thank you.
Currently 3rd at the mo with 2 games left but i play milan (4th) next and a signle point separates 2nd,3rd and 4th. Inter already won the league,
Sold all the best youth and bought Podolski, Van de Vaart and Mauro Rosales; had to readjust budgets and nearly ended us in debt but the sales of many people have allievated the problems
It was all going so well for me. Signed noone, but Pazzini scored 5 on the first day against Empoli.
Mutu was in form too, and scored the only goal i the second game, but I checked my fixture list and I have Inter, Roma, Lazio, Juventus and AC Milan in the next 7 games.
Once those are out of the way though, I'm pretty confident you could qualify for Europe with Fiorentina without making any signings.
Just don't let Montolivo or Santana go, and hope that Pazzini and Mutu stay fit.
As you can see quite a few brand new players brought in And Adrian Mutu sold, but with 4 days left to sign a new AML, before the Transfer window closed, it was an impossible feat, and now im left with Jorgy on on the wing.
Any way 2 played, 2 won \o/.
After 10 games i shall do a big update like signings etc.etc.
started with fiorentina over the weekend. they really are a great team to start with.
sold mutu for 25 mill over 24 months and also sold montolivo for 20 mill over 24 months...seems like the clubs will pay virtually any price tag over twenty four months!!!
bought barzagli, maduro, matias fernandez and huntelaar and got bresciano on co-ownership.
playing with a 4-4-1-1 formation with fernandez playing behind huntelaar.
GK: FREY
DR: BALZARETTI
DL: PASQUAL
DC: DAINELLI/GAMBERINI
DC: BARZAGLI (HE IS A ROCK)
ML: SEMIOLI/BRESCIANO/DIEGO CAPEL (ON LOAN)
MR: SANTANA
DMC: MADURO
DMC: DONADEL
AMC: FERNANDEZ (AKA GOD BY THE VIOLA FANS )
FC: HUNTELAAR (GREAT TARGET MAN TO FEET)
was doing well with only a 3-0 away loss to inter being the only really bad game.
anyway december game and pazzini was really not playing well so sold him for 6 mill to man city and then arsenal came in with an offer for frey and i adjusted it for 25 mill over 24 months so he was gone as well.
alot of good keepers were unavailable because they just changed clubs so got cudicini on a two year contract for 180k and he is doing well. also got makelele on loan and simao for 13 mill in january.
currently am in mid february and am joint 4th but got knocked out of the coppa italia but still in uefa.
got lucky with a 15 year old kid named iemmello who has 0 PA so got a random one and he is now labelled as the next luca toni. he is 190cm tall at only 15
things look promising for the viola and although the league looks difficult i hope to snatch at least third place.
