I tried loans for Adam Johnson - rejected me a few times then chose Derby
Lee Martin - nearly had him!...till Bordeaux came in late
Rachid Bouaouzan - rejected my loan
Sergio Peter - rejected for his first team commitment
Chris Eagles - chose Kilmarnock

couldnt really find any ML's with a decent bit of quality to come to me.
Kyle Reid and Scott Golbourne

Nice post foxmad, pretty much the team I played when I started as Leicester on the demo. Joe Mattock is brilliant at LB or ML btw. Not sure I signed anyone, can't remember. Will probably have another go with them soon.

Now we've got a few people in this discussion; who do you go for? Talented, skillful players, or big, strong bruisers with stamina galore?

As Charlton i'd go for mainly talented players as you'd have to get rid of the bruisers if you promote. I have alot of all rounders in the team like Zheng Zhi, Nacer Barazite, Luke Varney, Yassin Moutaouakil etc.

For the Championship, I like to create a side based around a core of hard working players. I like my central midfielders and defenders to be hard working, tough tacklers that cover every blade of grass.

I then have a contingent of skillful wingers.

i generally want my team to be physical and be able to stick their foot in, especially if theyre playing against long ball tactics.

but i think its those flair and technical players that give you an edge over the rest of the league and add that bit of danger to your play.

in this league, having a goal scorer is crucial if you want promotion so i think theyre always worth splashing out on if you can.

Queens Park Rangers

Transfer Budget: 500k upon setting your ideal finishing posistion
Wage Budget: 80k
Prediction: 18th
Training Facilities: Good
Youth Facilities: Average

Assistant Recommended Team:

Gk- Camp
DR- Timoska
DL- Barker
DC- Cullip
DC- Mancienne (Loan)
MR- Rowlands
ML- Nardiello
MC- Bolder
MC- Leigertwood
ST- Blackstock
ST- Sahar (Loan)

My recommended players in:

DR/L- Rang Shawkat (good back up/possibly starter for either full back posistion) 120k at most

DC- Mark Iuliano (old, but still has good stats in the right places, good solid back up) FREE

MC/AMC- Akos Buzsaky (class player, with a good alround array of stats) 350k at most

ST- Daniel Sturridge (good young striker you all know about) LOAN

Recommended Transfers Out:

Zesh Rehman - around 120k
Shabazz Baidoo - around 120k
Marc Nygaard - 30k

Currently using a narrow 4-3-3 with wide arrows for MRC/MLC and FRC/FLC...low creativity, short passing and high tempo seems to be doing the trick at the moment.

My current team..

GK- Camp
DR- Shawkat
DL- Barker
DC- Mancienne
DC- Leigertwood
MRC- Rowlands
MC- Bolder
MLC- Buzsaky
FRC- Sahar
FC- Sturridge
FRC- Blackstock

currently sitting top of the championship
