I am somewhat new to Photoshop as a whole, although I can find my way around it and do things that I need to. I really want to redo my clan website, and I found a tutorial for a "grunge layout" but I am having trouble finding any tutorials on this style aside from the original.

These are the two tutorials on it by the same author. While they are good tutorials, I am curious of a few things. One would be what would this look be called exactly? I have searched for grunge, tech, mecha, etc. and have turned up with nothing similar except these.
Also wondering if there are currently any templates around that use this style. I have a picture in my mind that I really want to create as the layout, but I would like to have a very slight variation to what these tutorials cover. (namely a larger border size, and some added effects)

Something like that is what I am going for. Sorry that looks so bad, it was the best mockup I could do with that one navigation image. I would just like to make the borders thicker, and make it intertwine better.
