I'm exploring all that photoshop animation can do right now, and . . . . . . . damn, it's limited. I'm not up for learning a new scripting language, but batching is . . . really really limited. Are there addons available to Photoshop that expand the amount of options available to its batching process, and etc? The last time I had to get a project done, I had to combine the batch process with a file-renamer to get all the filenames to come out properly. (Save as copy in four different directories at four different steps, then save all files in each directory as "filename_button_up," "filename_button_down," etc etc)
Even minor expansions to its' batching functionality would go miles towards making it more useful for large projects.
