Hi all,
I'm new to the board so greetings to everybody.
I'm stuck trying to set up Photoshop 5.5 for colour management to make my printer happy. He's told me to use the "Euroscale v2 coated" profile for RGB - CMYK conversions, but this option is unavailable to me in the CMYK setup dialog.
I have two questions about this, if anyone can help please.
Firstly, there are three options for CMYK model in this dialog: Built-in, ICC and Tables. However, ICC is greyed out. Does anyone know why this is and how I can make it available?
Secondly, in the Ink Colours drop down list I have the option to choose Eurostandard Coated. Is this option an acceptable alternative to the Euroscale Coated profile?
Thanks for your help. I'm quite new to all this colour management stuff and it's melting my brain.
