Well, well, well. Everyone has been going on about Beckham and RVN and how good they have been. Robinho, Sergio Ramos, Diarra, Iker Casillias and Raul Gonzalez have been as important and as Raul being the captain - he has been the most important. He has been inspirational and has scored 13 goals, which isn't too bad. The games against Espanyol, Deportivo, Osasuna, Valencia, Barcelona etc. he has lifted the team and kept the title hopes alive. I think he is the best captain in the world and the best of all times and Madrid could not have done it without him for sure.
Ever since Capello has played him upfront rather then on the wing, he has just been absolutely amazing!
Raul has been a massive influence also!
