I thought a brochure was taller than wide, with a tri-fold composition. This just looks like a full-page spread. The blending of the images is nice, but not condusive to a brochure, as the "seams" should follow the planned folds, so that images are complete on each section, without part of a whale head on one section, and the body on the other.

The use of all caps looks "tacked on." The text is not part of the composition. The leading between the words is also too wide, making the text even more disjointed and less a part of the work.

If you really are designing a brochure, you should do a web search for "brochure design tutorial." This is a nice enough work, but it really doesn't look much like a brochure, text aside.

Interesting comments MsOz. Are you willing to share with us how to do it the right way. Can you make a quick example? Would be very useful to a lot of people.
