PS to Illustrator

I have a logo in Photoshop format, is it possible to convert it to the formay Adobe illustrator uses I've never used illustator so help would be appreciated.

Yes Rick! File > Place (in Illustrator)

Yeah Rick just throw it in there. Rantin Al is the master guru of AI! I have a few threads in the Vector Forum dealing with AI. Might be helpful if you run into issues in there. I know I did starting out
