Ok, I have been playing around with coloring black and white pictures and I'm having lots of fun with it.

One thing is that it is hard to color things that are extremely dark.
For example, if a lady has really dark hair and I want to color it a full blond color how can I do that.

My coloring process at the moment involves creating a layer on top of what I want to color, painting on that layer and using blending options(soft light) to add the color affect.

Not bad.

Just a few notes: Make more acurate selections ( see the right eye - white is overlaping the iris, and the lips - color is around the lips).

Coloring using adjustment layers and curves needs a practice to get it right.

Yea thats a big part when you start making really time consuming projects, making sure your selection is just right
