Wow, the amount of difference a better pic can do, I far prefer this version...although i tihnk the text placement could be better...

Its a good attempt, but I like realism in a wall, if the sunset is on the opposite side of him then the side facing the viewer should be dark and not bright with so much light, i know u want to contrast the orange uniform and the sunset. I would duplicate the sunset twice with a screen blending mode to make the sunset more dramatic and better fit for the render.
