I just wanted to ask you about a tutorial Mark.

The 3D logo is the tutrorial i was wondering about

I would like you to explain step 7-9 agin.
This time with alittle more detail.

Welcome Hypercite,

Can you please post a sample of what your image looks like thus far? It's easier to assess the problem area(s) that way.

Steps 7-9 deal with manually painting on the highlights & shadows, so off the cuff i'm gonna say your problem lies with Step 8.

The second one is right after step 7.
And the first one is where it has gone wrong.

hmmm... well... you're definately missing something there for sure. If you can post your psd file i can check it over and try to sus out where the problem is.

Looking at your examples it's a tad mistifying. \:]
