In PS6, whatever I try I cannot get the Image resize dialogue to default to inches for Document size. It always opens with cm (centimetres) as the default for Width & Height.
Every setting in preferences is set to inches or pixels, where appropriate. My New document was created using pixels for Width & Height and resolution set to pixels/inch. \:]
Another minor irritation in PS is that even with everything constrained, if I change the Width to inches I have to change the Height separately. Why have two boxes. Nobody wants to know the Width in inches and the Height in centimetres, do they? \:] One box would surely have been enough for both Document size and Pixel dimensions. [righton]

I?ve now managed to resolve this by uninstalling and reinstalling PS. This time I opted for US English instead of International English at the start of the install process. I suspect it was the fresh install rather than this option, but it?s working fine now so... [righton] 8} [righton] .
Instead of a complete reinstall just bin the preference files - that usually clears up glitches like the one you mention. The language version makes no difference.
