• Hey guys, it's been ages since the Steven Gerrard wallpaper. I started this one a month ago or something, I couldn't go on working on it because of my exams stuff. And by the way, it was supposed to be a collaboration between Don and me, but I had the whole thing on my mind so I couldn't help finishing it off by myself (I hope it's okay with you, Don ). So this time I went for something dark, kind of similar to my Natalie Portman, La Chambre wallpaper. It's Black and White but it could have been coloured, but it would have used more work for me, and ahem... lazy, you know. Plus, in my opinion it fits in well. I mean, it's supposed to be an abandoned place, hence the Black and White. I'm not sure about the flames things, I just put them to let know that this gonna place is under construction and is gonna be tidied up soon. I spent a lot of time over the last days working on all details around, so I hope you guys will take a look at it closely to notice them. The text is kind of meh, I can't be bothered to find something more adapted to be honest, so I might give another shot for a new text as soon as possible. Thanks to Emma for the sub-text idea.

its a shame for me, cos im on a mac, and my screen resolution is different to a pc, and i can hardly make most of it out, apart from his face and arm and like a building / scaffholding thing.
actually if i squint i can make most of it out, awesome.

I can see most of it. I think this is why it's so good, because everytime you look you see more of the piece.
The concept is brilliant, how Gattuso is being built into the Player he is now. Hell, you can even go as far as saying he's a puppet being stringed by AC Milan. As those strings are hanging down, or even holding him up.
I would brighten up the fire a bit, maybe reflect it onto Gattuso's face? Only an Idea, like.
Amazingly creative and I love it !

I can see most of it as well. It's an amazing piece of art, the more you look at it the more details you find. This is probably the most creative piece I've ever seen, and its quality is outstanding as well.
The contrast between the black and white is awesome, there is no need to add any colours really.
I love it. Thanks for my new desktop.
Keep up the fantastic work, Davy. Now everyone understands why you need one month to make a wallpaper.

I am going to look at it the way you made it tonight when there is no light to make it impossible to see. However, I did put it in photoshop and added a bunch of contrast to it and it looks amazing. The detail in the design is outstanding and I can understand why you put the title for it that you did. Quite honestly outstanding designing Davy on this wallpaper. I hope you make a version with a bit more contrast and keep the uniqueness going. I hope to see more walls by you now with exams over, and keep up the great work man.
