i see the ctrl/cmd key used in the tutorials a lot. i know its a dumb question but what key is "cmd"?

In that context, Macintosh's equivalent of PC's ctrl.

Stroker's right.


Those are some of the older tutes. I've abandoned using that method for exactly this reason... new users get confused by that way of presenting the shortcut keys.

Now i just post a legend for Mac users at the beginning of each tute page. :B
