All this talk about United getting a new striker has made me wonder who United would buy.My choice would be Torres because he is an icon in spain just like beckham. Torres transfer fee would be about ¬Ł25 million but i think he would help united make the money back in Shirts alone. He is also a very good young footballer with the ability to use both feet.Plus he has 14 goals this year in la liga with an average team.

What do you think?

Why does everyone think Athletico are an average team. They are the equivalent of Spurs and underachieved this season yet are still hovering around 7th. They have quality and creative players too in Petrov, Aguero, Maniche and Maxi Rodriguez

I dont think he will go to United, I think he will stay in spain to be honest.
