Golanski being introduced.
I really don't think Zaglebie have a chance against Steaua at all to be honest with you. And this is why I say this:
CFR Cluj beat them in their friendly. It was no contest either, and they were playing a lot of substitutes in that game. Then Vaslui beat them 5-0 in their friendly and they are not even a top 5 team, not even top 8 in Romania. Zaglebie couldn't beat them and Steaua is a lot stronger than Vaslui especially. In their last game, Steaua won 4-0.
The players they signed are the following:
Eric Bicfalvi: Romania U19 starter and a great young attacking midfielder. He was Jiul Petrosani's best player last season. He scored 9 goals from a midfield position. I hate that he went to Steaua, he's too promising to be wasted there.
Mihai Gurita: He is an older striker that came from Farul Constanta in Romania. He is a great finisher and has a lot of pace. He made his debut for Steaua against AEK Athens a week ago in their 1-1 draw. He scored after going in for the last 10 minutes.
Cosmin Vâtca: A player that will be mostly a substitute for Steaua as he is a goalkeeper. He has been essential for Otelul in the past two seasons, but made the wrong choice in going to Steaua because he won't play too much.
Ifeanyi Emeghara: He is a young Nigerian defender who has excellent tackles and can play on either side of the defense. I think this is their best signing by far because he was Poli Timisoara's best defender besides McKain and he has a lot of potential to get better.
Adrian Neaga: Former Steaua player who plays striker. He scored 19 goals in his season with Steaua and then went to China to the Dragons for a mega contract. He came back to Steaua this summer because the paychecks at Steaua have increased a lot since he was there and he was tired of being in China and wanted to come back to Europe and play in European competitions. Him and Dica will be a massive partnership for Steaua.
Valentin Badoi: Our stupid owner sold him to Steua this summer for 600K. This is the best deal those red and blue cunts are ever going to make. Badoi didn't want to go to steaua, but our owner sold him to the Steaua owner and he had to go or he was going to be moved to our second team for not doing what our owner wanted. So he went to Steaua. Anyways, he is an AMAZING player. He was instrumental in every one of Rapid's successes in the past 3 years. He played 3 full seasons without missing 1 game. He is never injured, never suspended and never in any kind of trouble. He can play right defender and right midfielder and he is great with set pieces and crossing the ball. God I'm pissed he left.
Robinson Zapata: He is the colombian #2 keeper usually but does start sometimes. He played against the US in Copa America when I saw him and he looks pretty good. He is a bit of a hot head though and he might make some mistakes. He is likely to be #1 at Steaua and play above Vatca.. even though I think Vatca could be better. We'll see though.
Other players that Steaua is dealing for now:
Fabien Camus (Charleroi) - Great french midfielder. I hope he doesn't come because a lot of other big clubs are interested in him.
Ivic - I have no idea who this guy is or what he has done. I just know Hagi wants him and he might come.
Golanksi has to notice one thing though. Romanian clubs are a great ramp to bigger European clubs now.. because we are playing above expectations and beating teams with a lot more money that are eager to buy our players. However, our owners have a lot more influence than in many other leagues and they are very greedy and don't sell easily. If a player is really good.. they don't let them leave easily. They offer them shit promises and higher contracts and don't end their contracts unless the fee for the transfer is unrealistically high. This is why players like Radoi, Dica and Coman have not left our league.
Another shit thing about it is that a lot of times offers from Ukraine or Russia or Cyprus or China or UAE are better than offers from clubs like Anderlecht, Ajax, PSG, etc etc because they have oil money and other sources, so a lot of our good players end up going to worse leagues in those countries because our owners accept those offers over lower offers from better clubs.
So he should be careful. There is a reason why Romania doesn't have a lot of foreign players: Our fans are racist and discriminatory a lot of times, and our owners suck. Romanians are used to it so it is a lot easier for them to play in these high pressure oppresive environments, but most foreigners are in and out of our league. However, because our owners are the way they are, we have been able to raise the standard of the league and of our good teams. And it is good right now. We have 5 teams that can challange for the title right now. CFR Cluj, Poli Timisoara, Rapid, Steaua and Dinamo. And then you have Vaslui, Gloria, Ceahlaul, Otelul, Craiova that can cause problems and make surprises happen.
But yeah.. Zaglebie won't win against Steaua and Golanksi will probably do a good job for Steaua in this coming season. I hope I am wrong though

. I would love to see them go home after only 2 CL games. Hah.

I might have been wrong about Rapid making better transfers than Steaua though. They did sing some great players. But the best signings for us are better than their best signings. For example:
Ovidiu Herea: Steaua reallllly wanted him this summer. He is a 21 year old midfielder from FC National. He is the one in my sig. Steaua offered 2.5 million for him. However, our owner (in the only good thing he has done in a long time) offered 1.5 million to FC National and offered their owner a big discount on a yacht in his port. So the owner of FC National agreed because our owner has the best port for yachts in the country.

So we got Herea who can play center, left, right, defensive and attacking midfield. He is going to be brilliant. Badoi left to Steaua, but Herea is better and we fixed that hole very well.
Stefan Grigorie: Left midfielder from Poli Timisoara and was pretty costly as well. He can score a lot, he has a lot of pace, he can play a third striker in our 4-3-3 system and is another player Steaua wanted but failed to get.
So we made two signings that will make more impact than the signings Steaua made. Our midfield is the primary strength for us next year, and it is a lot stronger now with Herea than Dinamo's or Steaua's midfields.
However, we did make some shit signigns as well:
Boya - Who???? He is a slow striker from Partizan Belgrad that sucked for them and will suck for us. Why waste the contract money?
Tamandare - Who???? Some old right defender from Brazil. I read that in the friendlies he was slightly immobile and left the defense too often.
Cesinha - Who???? A young brazilian player that was on the U19 squad that won the world championships and comes from sporting braga in Portugal. However, in the friendlies he had one good game and 3 shit ones. I don't know if he'll be any good yet.
Andrade- Who???? Some young brazilian keeper that went in against Sochaux in our friendly and conceided a goal. We were about to beat the French cup winners. I don't think he is too good.
Bozovici- The only one of the foreigners we signed that I have some faith in. He is a left defender (which we badly needed) so he will play. He did well in the friendlies and will be good for us I think.
But anyways, overall we signed 2 or maybe 3 key players. But 2 for sure. Steaua bought a lot of players that will be substitutes and players that they have established players on those positions already.
But Dinamo made the best signings. They signed our best player from last season: Zicu. They signed our best player from 4 seasons ago: Bratu. They signed 5 other players that will be mostly subs besides a couple of them maybe. Anyways, we will see in the supercup who made the better signings.
