I read there a qoute about harming the other parts of the picture with the copy green channel and set new one to luminosity. I have to agree her sweater looks worse for wear.

Couldnt you cut out her face though?? and then just enhance that selection and not the whole picture?? Would there be a way to make the channel and set to luminosity and then use a mask to take it away from areas other than the face??Becasue the trick to the face is awesome just not the sweater ;\

Yes, that's possible. It is indeed good thinking of you! The parts that may not be affected can be protected with a layer mask, for example.
