We are doing a photo shoot with all these dead people and I am the one adding all the blood and guts to the pic's.. This girl is doing it for one of her classes and so far it's going well.. But we are doing the final shoot on Sunday.. And I need to know if this pic looks good.. And or what any of you would do to make fake blood and make it look real.. And or I have to add holes in them from being shot and what not too.. There will be like ten people dead.. But here is one I worked on for like 30 min's last night.. Please do express yourselfs here and help me out.. I need a quick schooling and making a fake murder look real....

I`m not an Expert with a Blood Dealing, but if you need quick help, i will give a try [slick] :
First it`s looks to red, try to use the burn tool to make it darker or try to use "Multiply or Overlay" in places like " head".
On the head: make more blood bleading down. Why? because there is to much of blood around ... and only a small Dot on the head, doesn`t looks to realistic [honesty] .
Ok! [:I forget about all of this Bull ... i just told.
Take a "Burn" tool>choose "Mid Tones" and put "Exposure-100%" everething is located on top toolbar, and try to make a dirt from the blood around the head as i did.
Here is an example, i dont know you like or not, but as i said "i just gave a try " The place around the head has to be dark, becouse by my experience, when the blood got on the unlacked wood floor! it will overlay with wood floor in a 30m to 1hour, before photographers will come on place of Criminal.

If you use the dodge and burn make a new layer above your image,fill with 50% grey,set to overlay and dodge and burn on that.Any mistakes just throw the layer and its non destructive


My comments are physics. your character looks like he has commited suicide.He is lying down and the blood is pooling around him to behind his head so it looks like suicide,and it looks like he reclined back and shot himself in the forehead,it looks like this because the guy would be shot sitting up in his chair/standing,lying down is where he would end up,so there would be blood across the cushions and chair behind where the guy would be sitting/standing.Next he would have blood dribbled down his forehead {ie gravity} but also that blood dribble would be down over his face in reverse as well because of the angle his head is on yet again lying backwards.

Heres a quick one from me......the shooting is more recent in this one so the blood is not as dry.


I added blood on the front and down the face to show the guy was standing up when shot,and then fell over.
