can someone tell me please how can I reduce the size of a photo without losing the quality?

Move Tool (v)

Show Transform Controls (top left of window)

Then around the perimeter of the image you should see dotted lines and boxes at each corner and the middle. Press and hold SGIFT on your keyboard then Click any one of the 4 cornered boxes and move your mouse towards the centre of the image.

Sometimes it looks better if you sharpen the image (FilteR> Sharpen) when you've made it smaller.
