Good work but I think where the text is needs a better background, a faded white part over there would be great. The rest is really good!

Nice work man. i like it, but i think that some things can be better.

The header is good, is enough for the theme, but remember that the header is like a book cover, so i think that you could improve the text, making part of the text bold and the rest just as it is. Try to manage the square in another way, is a bit random.

Switch date and blog entrie text, and make the date smaller. As it is a Blog or Wordpress theme, instead of "More News" type "Previous Entries" but i think that is not important right now as it is only a preview. :]

Benit : I changed it to 'previous entries' and I've modelled the blog around the 'blogger' interface where the date and blog entry text are in opposite position with respect to Wordpress.

Very nice analagy with the book cover! I gave the text some more time and got rid of the rectangle, I think it's looking better now.

Ix-Xibi : I tried the faded background, and it was disrupting the flow of things.

Ste and Rishi : I tried blending the grass in better, and make the blending a little less symmetric and gradient like. Also gave it a contrast bump. I think it's looking better. Thanks!

Also, extended the theme, adding a few bits at the bottom (I'm not sure about the compatibility with a blogging engine though).

The text work is awesome. The choice of pic for the header is a good one aswell. Everything about the template oozes class tbh, especially the text. Really nice job!
