Default How do I rotate

How do I rotate these black thorny things around the circle at precise intervals - like the circular markings on a clock. In Illustrator there's a very easy way of doing this but I can't seem to find it inP.S. [innocent]

Hi

At the top of your monitor Ferlin {right at the top}{PS7}you will find little boxs where you can enter coordinates for rotation, shear etc.Try using Edit transform > rotate and set the amount of degrees you want to rotate by in the little box, click the check mark and then if you go edit transform you can select "again" from the menu,so you can duplicate the thorn, rotate, then dupe again and rotate etc etc until you are finished. Its been a while since I did this myself so I may have goofed somewhere along the way in the process [saywhat] ,but see if that works for you

One other helpful thing to do. Make guides at the center of the object you are rotating around... in this case the circle shape. Now when you do the rotation, drag the center reticle for the transformation onto that center guide and it will use the circle's center as the point at which to transform around.

Thanks guys. I'm going to print this one out as it is an important one for me. In finding the center of the circle -- is this a good way: square marquee around the circle touching all 4 sides of it - then with the pen tool draw an x thru it? I know about the guides but unless the circle is in the center of the document , I don't trust my eyeballing it with the guides. I guess this begs the question, is there an easy way of finding the center of a circle? [stuned] ;\

Set your guides to SNAP Ferlin {view menu} next make your circle the size you want and drag your guide over it until it snaps, then hold down alt/option and drag again and place the next guide in the middle of where it snaps .....I have an atrocious memory so if for some reason this does not work, fill your circle {as in edit fill} then set the guides.
