Default Euro 2012 Poland/Ukraine

I'm happy to announce that in 2012 the UEFA European Championships are in Poland and Ukraine! Great news for all Poles and Ukrainians and all football fans, we will have great stadiums for 5 years from now

Hmm, I'm not sure about this. I'm not being anti-Poland/Ukraine at all, but with all the policital crap that has gone on within football around there I'm not sure if this is the best idea. Also, I reckon that financing is going to be a major issue and I can see it breaking down at some point, just like the Athens Olympics.

I hope that I am proved wrong and they take Europe by storm, I'll be 22 by then so might even consider taking a trip out to a couple of games, depends what money I'm making then.

They should do it in Romania... but we only have one UEFA criteria meeting stadium ... so it would be a looong tournament with only one stadium to play on. But Poland and Ukraine are good choices. It is good to have one in the East though.

Horia, we almost don't have any of the stadiums that will be used in the EURO, and those that we have will be rebuilded We also have to build new hotels, roads and maybe some airports. A lot of work to do, and all our construction workers are in Great Britain now

Ah so you are investing a lot in it then. Lucky. But it will also make a lot of money so it will be worth it. Not sure if it will all be made up though.
