Well here's the thing "The Pope". No one is trying to harass you or start an argument, we are just giving you the reasons why this would not work out.
Soccer-art is a massive website and there are thousands of active members. The wallpapers are
soccer-art's biggest product right now and what people come here to see. We have a team of just 20 people that have achieved the Graphic Artist status. The ratio of Graphic Artists on the team to the members is a little over 1 to 450. Now, the signature request zone has been on the site for some time, and it is not exactly a big hit. We can't handle the requests because everyone here has a life, this is just a hobby. And like it's been said, making a wallpaper takes a lot more time than making a signature. And if no one is making the signatures, then how can you possibly expect anyone to make the wallpapers requested. The nature of people is to do what they want when they want it. That's been the kind of laissez fair attitude I've always had with this site and the staff of this site. We don't coarse anyone into making something, posting somewhere, or tell them how to use their time. I think that's one aspect of
soccer-art that has kept the staff happy and dedicated. What you would expect is that the staff members would complete the wallpaper requests for the members. This would mean that we impose on them what they should do with their time, ideas, and duties on this site. It won't make any of them too happy and there is not enough of them to make every request and not have it seem like a job. So basically we can open a wallpaper request forum and make the rule that the
soccer-art GAs can't complete any of the requests. It would be members making wallpapers for members. It will be like the sig request area. Now, if we did that and received a bunch of bad comments about how none of the walls are getting done.. it won't be a positive thing for us. If there is a wallpaper that you want and we don't have, you can use the tutorials and the resources and the inspiration on
soccer-art to raise your level of design and make the wallpapers yourself. We see so many people improving every day and making what they want to make. We are too big of a site now to handle requests with the small select staff we have, so we can't make this section at this time.
