I got mine yesterday plus a game - Virtua Tennis 3 (I'm stupid, I should have bought Motor Storm as well, but no, I thought it was too much for a day and now I will buy it tomorrow, maybe with another controller). :eek:

I'm quite happy with it. It's beautiful and more importantly, silent. This is something Xbox360 owners can't say about their console, huh? :p
I haven't configured the online mode of the console yet, but I it really sounds great.

Well, here are my thoughts on Virtua Tennis 3:

The graphics are fantastic even when the game isn't played on a HDTV, which is my case. Still, the animations are quite good and fluid.

I haven't explored it much yet; I've been playing only friendlies, trying both single and double modes, so I can't say much about the other game modes, but they seem interesting. From what I've seen we can play tournaments with the real players and create ourselves in order to become a professional player. This career mode sounds good.

Regarding the gameplay, it's definitely the best tennis game I've ever played. The way players move, hit the ball, run and dive makes the game look like reality.
Besides, there's a good point concerning the gameplay - the difficulty modes. I'm glad I'm still struggling to beat the computer in the hard level because this means I will have a lot of fun in the next days. And there's also a very hard level... :p

Well, I really like this game. It's quite addictive and in my opinion it's worth the money.

I think i'm not gonna get the PS3 this year. No, I don't want to wait 'till it's cheaper because i have the money to buy it but the games which are coming out right now aren't that great (in my opinion). seriously, it sounds like a great gaming platform. resistance is a pretty nice game and motorstorm, too but that's it. haven't heard of any better games yet. i think i'll wait untill final fantasy 13 or some other really good games (assassins creed might become a good one) come out.
