iv got a 360, i dont really play it much, but id also like a ps3, but at the moment i cant afford fuck all. I was at work the other day (thurs nite) and we had 4 in stock, and i was filing all the games, my manager asked me if i wanted 1, and id of got 20% off but i've got no money. 
thing is, i know its expensive but if you think the cheapest blue-ray player is about £600, then a ps3, plus a blue ray player all for £425 isnt really that bad.
anyways, although i i'd like a ps3, i only play pro evo and gta, so i dont really need 2 consoles, plus i think gta is out exclusively first on the 360 this yr?

GTA is out simultaneously on both 360 and and PS3 this year.

For the best opinions about gaming platforms, hop on to a site like gamespot or ign. There was an interesting article about the graphics of an xbox360 when compared to those of a PlayStation3. Xbox360 was clearly the winner. The shade was far more better and the brightness was also better.
On the other hand, PlayStation3 is still getting developed so then, I think it's definitely worth a wait and then decide what is the best. Since most of the games are out only for PlayStation, finding a game that suits you can be easier.
It's a matter of time but I definitely think it's not worth buying right now. The price is crazy and there aren't many games released up till now and there won't be a lot until late 2007

The reason for that is because the games where originally designed for the 360 and just ported onto the PS3.
It's like when you have a video file and you want to convert it to a different file type..you will loose quality.
When the new games come out you'll see the PS3 will be alot better.
