That means shit all tbh, he still gets back and defends aswell
Also Essien has played the majority of the season at CB while Maka has been in and out at times. Yet Lamps still has 20 goals
Fair enough you can dislike him (I hate Messi with a passion but am man enough to know he's a good player) but they guy aint overrated. He's produced these results and performances for the past 3-4 seasons. So thats shows his class.
Overrated players would be more like:
Crouch (Has really done nothing except score goals for England against 3rd world nations)
Bellamy (Was always overrated, had 1 good season then all of a sudden he's special)
Rooney (Has done bugger all for England and ManU the last few seasons after all the hype...Shows flashes of pure brilliance but not enough to warrant the hype.)
Lennon (Similar to Rooney, only thing that makes him stick out is his raw pace, not much else to his game other then that.)
Paul Robinson (Certainly not England's best keeper going around, David James
imo is still better with Foster and Carson next inline)
Reyes (Well had a good stint at Sevilla, was average at Arsenal and well not much better at Madrid, all the signs of a overrated player who hasnt produced)
Downing (McLaren's secret love child, was never special and most likely never will be.)
Kirkland (Again was touted the next big thing to stand between Englands sticks, constant injuries and years later....isnt any better then a average EPL keeper)
