I actually quite like it.

I like the concept very much. The text isn't particularly good, but thats the same with all beginners.

I think maybe you should change the colour of the whole piece (sepia, grayscale), but keep the colour of the water the same.

I like the feathered gerrard in the clouds, but i think you should change the hue/sat settings to blue, so he really blends in.

Finally, I think you should change the 'walks on water' bit, as it doesn't suit the piece. Replace it with an arial variation (shruti, trebuchet), move it to either under the main text, or nearer his head, and then increase the opacity of it. Hope this helps pal, and if you take my advice, please post up a V2.
