What Im asking for really is some advice. I'd really appreciate it if someone of much experience (Onskin, PLP2), could come and give me some pointers .
well the whole floral/flower stuff is completely inappropriate really, doesn't fit the image of the Streets at all, try to make it more urban/grungey rather than the girly thang goin on atm.
As Jtm said,the flowers are pretty unneccessary here.And as he suggested it would be best to make it darker,grunge.You could always download some brushes from here and some fonts from here.The idea as a whole is pretty interesting but not executed too well.Make a v2 and post it up.
Well,yeah it's good,but the style doesn't fit,that's why no one can really judge,if you make a v2,totally different,people will see the real potential of this piece.The fact is that the idea is good and you should develop it so you could get a really nice splash or whatever that is.As i see you've written "Poet",so you could put some old scratch papers,pencil,feather or some ink splatters and some old style textures.
