Very, very creative yet I feel the colours don't flow. The top of v.Nistelrooy's head looks a little odd to and thet text should stand out more.

Second version's looking a litle improved. Make the canvas all one colour, the grey at the bottom ruins it. Also, if you could bring him out of the scanlines it might look better.
