I assume you mean mottled background?

Looking at the site I suspect you would be better off creating the effect yourself using the clouds filter.

The important thing to get right is the lighting conditions on your background should match the lighting conditions of the subject(perhaps that is what Mystic Lighting does for you?).

My guess would be,
Create a cloud background using whatever colors you want, put it on a layer behind the subject.
Create a mask of your subject using whatever tools you are happy with.
Look at the lighting on the subject, use that to determine what lighting and shadows are needed on the background (generally it will be very diffuse) and where.

If their is a demo of the app you are probably as well giving it a try as well just to compare results.

I have Mystical Lighting. basically, and I have only really played with it for review purposes, there seems to be a sort of masking function within the interface. There are a lot of neat special effects but none that cannot be rendered in Photoshop alone, of course that's basically true with every plugin.
