Student union at my college asked me to design a poster for an upcomming 'battle of the bands' competition. The guy asked for it to be nice and grungy. I had loads of ideas but couldn't really pull what i wanted off because I need huge images, its going to be printed so i worked at 300dpi A4 sized. Anyway here's what i got so far.

It's awesome,bro.I love everything about it.Although it's grunge it looks kinda smoothy.The textures and text are awesome.But if you need a suggestion i would give you one.Because it's a "battle" i think you should put an energy or lighting burst near the text and the guitarist.Something goldish or silverish.And may be copy the "battle of the bands" text and blur it from the side of the burst,as it's getting melted.It's only a suggestion,hope it helps.
