It looks like you have some beveling going on there, which by its very nature introduces some blurring. Either lose the bevel, or give it a 1-pixel bevel with a small distance.

By all means, lose the bevel. I think it would come out much stronger with the solid colors and more space buffer on where the lettering and the design intersect.

Default what i would do

it looks very pixellated on the....
what i always do when i make logos for the web is make the logo on an a4 (wait.. i know the file size is huge) at 300 dpi....
make the logo and place the text, you file size will be massive i know.
then open a new canvas (ctrl+n) at the desired size that you want teh logo to be when it is on the web page (***x*** pixels at 72 dpi) then go to the logo youve just made and drag it to the new canvas, and transform the size (hold shift when dragging from the corners to keep in propotion) then simply flatten and save for web....(60% should do)
hope this helps

i have attached an image that i made in this way... it was 8.7 meg its now 16k.. okay its black and white... but your logo will compress loads

DZ2 - The dpi doesn't matter for screen presentation. It could be anything. 3 or 3000... the screen doesn't care. What screen presentation does it looks at the total number of pixels and then translates those pixels to your screen pixel by pixel depending on your resolution. The reason you'd be getting better work out is that you are using a ruled distance, which is creating more pixels. If you just create a larger amount of pixels, the dpi doesn't matter at all (even the final dpi)

It's usually a better idea to build your stuff higher pixel size or in vectors so that you can use it for other projects though.

RN4S - If you MUST keep the bevel on that logo, I would suggest that you use a hard, sharp beveling. It will make it look more like a metal surface and blend better with the solid strong lines of the rest of the shape. I still think the text needs more breathing room, especially with it being the same color as the rings.
