Ok guys - I'm calling off the header design because I feel that thread has become messy and basically, I was not happy with the results at all. If you were making something feel free to submit it in that thread - but like I said, if it resembles any of the past ones, I won't even reply to it.

Ok so I was thinking how to do this myself and I came up with my solution. Basically I'm just going to totally get rid of the concept of a "Header".

Instead I will have the background image floating around behind with a gap at the top for my logo and maybe I might think of some small icon designs or something to stick in.

As you can see, I just got rid of the header.

Now first off - I want the word FUNK - written as close as you can get to the style of the wording of the company REEF - whoever does this the best and nicest will win $25 for that - basically just to recreate the word FUNK in the lettering of REEF. Keep it white for now, text color can easily be change so that's not a problem.

Ok now looking at the talent here, I thought it might be easier if I made something smaller instead of a header.

On the layout you will see two boxes. One box is going to be a flash animation so don't worry about one.

However the second one will be a promo image.

Now this contest is going to be for that little box area with a prize of $40 for that small box.

If your game enter - I want it to be something hot.

It has to promote the message that FUNK CAN HANDLE ALL YOUR DESIGN NEEDS - It doesn't need to write that, what it has to show is just some cool design.

Consider it, your making like a splash or sig -

Ok some ideas -

Use an image, any image and blend it. What I really like doing is using pictures of concerts - Like a nice image of loads of people, of hands, of people and somehow show it in the way, that everyone wants a peice of funk

Know what I mean?

But I'd actually prefer if everyone does not use any TEXT in your first submissions. Text can always be slapped on later.

I want to see if anyone can interpret a message through their graphics WITHOUT using words.

I think a dark color theme would work best but as you may remember my fave colors are pink/blue/white as well so if you think you can throw them in feel free.

Things I like and find quality -

The Spiderman 3 promo poster style, the dark effect for the new one coming out with the rain in the background and all dark and shit with touches of blue. That is hot and would work in an area such as that.

Just something hot - use graphics/images of anything or whatever you want - as long as you think it would work in that box on that preview sample. Submit your entries early and I will tell you if your on the right path or not.

Last comment - if you got anything stupid to say or your Bulgarian, please leave your thoughts and comments n the other thread of the header as I want this one clean and easy to navigate for my sake and also for respect to the designers.

still got the eps of this.

traced the original in illustrator then manipulated the anchor points to create the different letter forms.. i can space them out a little if needed
