Oh no, I know; I was poking fun at his Leverkusen stint. He could've stayed abroad, but he picked a move back to the MLS.

The MLS is slow, but it's rougher than most people would be led to believe. I.E. definitely not a comfortable place for an over-the-hill superstar to retire, especially playing against kids that have something to prove.

He has other interests in the area. He actually runs an academy at the Home Depot Center. He has said that he would end up in the US at some point; it was just a matter of time.

I'm actually really excited about Edgar Davids and FC Dallas. I think he can have a greater impact on the developmental level with his connections to MOTG, among others.

Hopefully the Ronaldo deal will get moving. I'd probably shit myself if Josmer Altidore was able to play with/under Ronaldo at RBNY.

davids and ronaldo are finished players. i will see mls if people like messi, gerrard, cronaldo, exc will go to mls in these years, now it seems like a cemetary of the elephants
