thats not what i was getting at. since there is no history or anything how would you know

A motion blur makes it the filtered image look like it's moving.

i know. what i am saying is how do you find what they did. when you clock on the layer it dosent give you a history of what they did to the layer. i was using motion blur as an example

You cant find out what they did, but most of the time its obvious.

just put the layer back to normal and you will see what they did with it
