That's true, and more printing houses will take or insist on quark before pagemaker. I find pagemaker easier to use, but it's a pain for printing. Good point. Keep reading...

Now we're talking. InDesign takes all the power of Quark and turns it into a quick and easy process. It's made by adobe, it works like adobe, and it's easy like adobe. If you already spent 1000 bucks on quark, you are probably invested in using it. For someone new? You have to use photoshop for graphics editing anyway, even if you use quark (no graphics editing capabilities besides drawing little squares, or that little alien thing. hehe i love easter eggs), You can buy the Adobe Studio package for under $1000 and it comes with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Everything you'd need plus more. In short, Viva Adobe
