looks pretty nice. make the nav bar gradient a little softer though,a nd the text more sharp?

It's nice but it's a bit plain although maybe that's what you were aiming for. It's nice though. Maybe add something that makes it looks more appealing like the way you made your Defoe sig look appealing. Lol, sorry if this isn't good criticism.

Looks good, very simple and it works. Make the section that shows latest work the same size as the main section, and the layout will be perfect. Also do what nod1ne said - soften the gradient on the nav bar.
