I guess the only reason Lamps is booed or jeered at is because he is not scoring. Else one of my mate posted the stats in which Lamps is better then Gerrard. In no way am i saying Gerrard is a bad player. He is a fantastic player. But Lamps isn't bad either.

Lamps has been scoring so much for Chelsea that everybody is expecting him atleast a goal a game especially for England whereas Gerrard hardly scores for the club. Gerrard not scoring too much for the club makes him less wanted on the scoring sheet.

I totally agree that Lamps is not playing the best football at the moment but please give him a break that lad played more games than anybody in the whole continent this season (correct me if i am wrong). Soon next season you will see him firing again and once again he will be voted best player of the year by the same guys who booe him now (i hope so).
